Our Policy on Access and Inclusion of Disabled and Older People.

Our intention is to ensure that all our guests, including those with disabilities and older people, experience a warm welcome and we will do our best to make a visit to The Annan Hotel works well for everyone, within the limitations of our historic building. Our staff are always pleased to offer assistance whenever possible.

Getting to The Annan Hotel Llandudno

The Annan Hotel is in the heart of Llandudno and there are many public transport operators serving the nearby area. Busses, Coaches and trains all regularly enter the town and Taxis are available from the railway. A map is available on the bottom of our webpages. The Ordnance Survey grid reference is SH 77828 82556; postcode for satnav users is LL30 2EA.

Approach and outside property

The Annan Hotel is positioned at the top of Abbey Road and Arvon Avenue and is easily seen when travelling up these streets. The immediate entrance is a large carpark. There are no blue badge reserved parking spaces at present but is possible to park close to the entrance.

Accessing the property;

Entrance to the reception area is via 7 stairs; access to the first floor is then via 21 stairs and access to the second floor is via an additional 17 stairs. There are no elevators or stair lifts at the premises. There is currently no wheelchair access to the hotel but there are two bedrooms on the ground floor, suitable for guests with limited mobility. All but 3 guestrooms have walk-in showers (Guestrooms with baths are: Room 4, Room 8, and Room 10).

Visually impaired visitors

The Annan Hotel is well-lit and generally has good colour contrast in bedrooms and public areas. Information and menus can be made available in larger print, upon request. Guide dogs and other assistance dogs are welcome. External steps all have contrasting non-slip stair nosings.

Visitors with special dietary needs

We are happy to meet the needs of guests with special dietary requirements. Prior notice is appreciated.

Guests with allergies

Non-feather pillows and duvets can be provided.

Deaf/hard-of-hearing guests and vulnerable guests

Procedures are in place to assist guests in case of fire or other emergencies.

We will review access issues regularly and improve whenever possible.
